COME TO FRUITION

When my son was in his infancy and he was approaching different mobility milestones, it was heart wrenching to watch him struggle to enjoy tummy time, or to roll over. The babes get so frustrated, and upset, and they just cry.... and cry... To be honest we as adults do the same. We press toward a goal, we fail, we try, and fail. If things do not happen the first time, we become emotionally exhausted and frustrated, giving up all most entirely. Is this the way we should live. God's word tells up to keep pressing. To keep standing. To keep seeking. To keep knocking. To keep talking to him. To keep stepping. To keep hoping. To keep the faith. To keep asking not letting him rest day and night.

Where has the tenacity to search for God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind gone? My son knew I was there, he knew I would step in at the right time. But I, as his parent, also knew that he needed to practice, to discover, to press into the friction. Press into the trial. He then learned to hold his head up, he learned to roll over, he learned to crawl, walk, and run. God treats us the same way. He obviously knows way better than us on what is good for us and what is not good for us.

Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13 AMP

walking in the desert

And there you will serve [false and foreign] gods, the work of human hands, [lifeless images of] wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell [the offerings of food given to them]. But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. -Deuteronomy 4: 28-29

How hungry are you for him? How much do you want him in your life? It is that inkling from within. Deep inside your gut, that is pricking you that something is missing, and something about God seems right. There is a tug towards him. Something about him strikes wonder, arouses curiosity, provokes questions, and a longing. My son did not have to ask me what he needed to do next. I didn't have to tell him that he needed to hold his head up or to roll over. It was in him as an instinct that he needed to do already. Of course I spoke to him all the while, encouraging him, guiding him, cheering for him every little victory till the end. God wants the same for you. No matter what level of misunderstanding, or frustration, or how upset. He is right there, waiting for us to look at him. To ask him, inquire him, give it to him. He is always speaking; we must be sensitive enough to hear what he is saying. When you cry and scream and throw a fit, it is hard to heard God over that noise, but he is speaking all the while. Sometimes it is other influences on us that are manifesting, and creating the chaos, that is holding us back, and keeping us from hearing God. Then we need deliverance, and purification. The Holy Spirit will Guide and lead you; he will enlighten you in those areas exposing the enemy influence in your life.

‘Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish. -Jeremiah 33:3

reaching out

What does it mean to Call out to him? It means to seek him first above all things. In everything that you do, you need to talk to him and ask him first. Just as a child does. My kids ask me about EVERYTHING! We do not only live because of food and drink but we live on and by every word that comes from the father through Jesus. Humble yourself, ask for repentance, and seek him. Worship him. Worship and prayer are weapons that we use in the spirit along with speaking our holy language. We do not fight against flesh and blood, against people. We fight against principalities, powers of the air, and spiritual influences unseen. There is a difference between fighting against development and pressing into what God has for us and fighting against the enemy. I pray God shows you and gives you discernment and clarity over what issues you are facing, and he brings you into victory.

Amen, bless you!
