THE "NOT ME" MENTALITY

How often do you notice the blessings of others? How often have you prayed for others and witnessed their deliverance, their salvations, their miracles, their blessings, their promises come? How often has someone come to do the same for you and it did not come to fruition? You think your acting out of Humility, but are you not hindering yourself from receiving from God? Thinking that you're not worthy, or not where you should be to receive, you do not believe it is for you. You make excuses for why it didn't happen, or you try to push it away thinking its ok that you didn't get it, trying to be humble...These "thoughts" are against what the word of God says is for you. This is false humility. Your identity perception of yourself is skewed.

The reason you're not receiving has to do with your belief system. God only operates in belief, which is tied to your faith, which comes from action, and directly from your heart.

"The demon has often thrown him both into fire and into water, intending to kill him. But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us!” Jesus said to him, “[You say to Me,] ‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me]!” Immediately the father of the boy cried out [with a desperate, piercing cry], saying, “I do believe; help [me overcome] my unbelief.”" - Mark 9:22-24 AMP.

I struggle with this. I have seen God work through me for other people. I have seen him work around me for others, then sit back and wonder, I want that, I want this, I asked for that too. But why not me? Exactly, Why NOT YOU! Because of my belief system! Something has rooted deep in my heart that is stopping the manifestation of what I am asking for.

Whatever you are experiencing on the outside, in your life, is a direct correlation of what is happening on the inside, your mind, and heart. Your mind set and your belief system. What is it that you believe about yourself? Do you believe what people have labeled you, what the world tells you to believe? Or do you believe what God has created you to be? Do you know what God has said about you? Do you believe what God has said is yours? God commands us to take him at his word, to repeat back to him what his word says, and he delights in that. That is true meditation, to fill up on truth, God's word. Not to empty ourselves out, that's new age trying to be something it is not.

God says that his thoughts about you outnumber the sands of the sea! That's a lot of thoughts.... God is not a man, that he can Lie. Which means he does not waver, He is GOD!

"How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I could count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You." -Psalm 139: 17-18 AMP

So, what does God think or say about you?

• You are Beloved: a much-loved person.

• You are a Masterpiece: a work completed with extraordinary skill, especially a supreme intellect, artistic achievement.

• You are Chosen: An elect, divinely favored.

• You are Holy: Dedicated and Consecrated to God for a divine purpose; Sacred.

• You are Forgiven: granted pardon: absolved, remit. (Not Accused)

• You are a New Creation: new in freshness, with respect to age, unused, unworn. BrandNew

• You are Redeemed: compensated, atoned, made amends, gained possession, repay, cleared. Back buy

• You are worth the Life of Jesus: The price for you is blood, your value is innocent blood. Not gold or silver, but more valuable than perishable items.

• God's own Child: Offspring of God, Womb, Fetus, to ball up, mass. brood from God. descendent. coming downward from.

• You are an Heir: legally entitled to the property or rank of another, inheriting and continuing the legacy of the predecessor.

These are just a few of what God says about you in his word. Remember it is more than the sands of the sea, and he wants to tell you all the thoughts. When you believe what God says about you, and believe who God says that you are, you begin to open up the Gifts God is giving you and you receive what he has for you.

SOOO Much MORE!

This is how you change your belief, in your heart! Belief does not come from your mind, but from your heart! Your mind changes when your heart changes.

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word [the message, the basis] of faith which we preach— because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. -Romans 10: 8-10

Believing in your heart first, leads to speaking it, and when you speak it, then your faith is acted on, and when faith speaks, it confirms your belief to your head, solidifying that which is spoken.

Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and [f]does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power] but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. -Mark 11: 22-23

When you hear Gods word whether it be written or spoken to you, believe it first in your heart, then speak it out, repeating what Gods word says, this is faith in action being spoken, and repeat it over and over and this is meditating. Meditating changes what you think. It is said that when you speak something three times it settles the matter inside you as being true. This means you then transform your mind!

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

What now then?!

1. Read and listen to Gods word.

2. Speak it out in faith, to yourself and to people, over and over.

3. Repeat it back to God in prayer.

4. Ask, and Command things you want to happen according to God's will.

5. Keep Seeking it, Keep Knocking, Keep Asking with No Doubt.

6. Believe and be sure that you have received what you are after.

7. Be thankful and grateful always.

God always provides and comes through. He never changes and is always faithful. You set the bar for what you receive. Remove the boundaries that you have place around God and let him be big in your life. Set him free in your life.

GOD, Jesus, and the Holy Spirt be with you, Love you, Speak to you, and Show you the way!
